Named after Scandinavia’s Skagerrak, an idyllic strait connecting southeast Norway, Sweden, and the Jutland peninsula of Denmark, the label is rooted in Scandinavian design and traditional craftsmanship. Skagerak’s functional and practical glazed terracotta dishes, ceramic vases and untreated oak pieces impart a sophisticated touch to interiors, combining what the label refers to as a mix of “state-of-the-art ideas and methods with longstanding knowhow and virtues deeply embedded in the Nordic culture.”
